Charles David Wilder

Charles David Wilder, 75, of Fort Worth, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2007.Charles was born July 11, 1932, in Palatine, New York, to Wesley Wilder and Marcia Gwendolyn Angus. He served in the U.S. Air Force for ten years. He married Helga Riedel on January 4, 1957 in Germany. Together they formed Wilder's Beauty Salon, and later Wilder Enterprises.Charles is survived by his wife, Helga Riedel Wilder of Fort Worth; daughter, Heidi Wilder of Weatherford; and son, Charles David Wilder II of Fort Worth. He is also survived by his grandsons, Kevin Alan Wayland, Josiah Odell Wayland, and Charles David Wilder III, all of Fort Worth; and two sisters, Vivian Johnson and Sally Cook, both of New York. A private graveside service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2007, in Weatherford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Weatherford Animal Shelter, 409 Hickory Lane, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
