Michelle Coleen Olivas

Michelle Colleen Olivas broke her earthly bonds on August 22, 2007 at a local hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at White's Azle Chapel.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Colon Cancer Research at University of Texas Southwest in Dallas or charity of choice.Michelle was born December 1, 1968 to Carol and Leon Roberts in Seattle, Wash. She married Edward Dean Olivas in Amarillo on Feb. 7th, 1990. Michelle was a longtime Hospice nurse in the DFW area who gave much of herself to helping others.Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eileen and Joe Paetz and Lora and Houston Roberts.Michelle will be sorely missed by her husband, Edward Olivas; children, Joshua Garza, Aubrie and Edward Olivas; brothers, Carl Roberts of Azle and Kevin Roberts of Carmel, Ind.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and many friends.
