Billy Eskew, 75, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2007 in Weatherford. Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Saturday at White's Chapel of Memories Burial: Aledo Brown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Weatherford Funeral Home. Billy Eskew was born January 12, 1932 in Mart. Bill was a long time resident of Parker County. As a young man he served time in the Marine Corps and graduated with his masters from Texas Wesleyan University. Bill started his career as a history teacher at Brewer High School; however quickly found he preferred home building as his profession. His greatest love was his family; he was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. Bill was preceded in death by granddaughters, Amy Lou Carroll and Rachael Ann Eskew; and his parents, Willie Earl and Elrie Eskew. Survivors: loving wife of 55 years, Norma Lou Eskew; daughter, Susan Wiley and her husband, Jimmie Joe of Aledo; son, Brinkley Earl Eskew and Carrie Anne of Aledo; sister, Sherry Bates and husband, Sid of Willow Park; and numerous nieces and nephews.
