Linda R. Covington

Linda R. Covington, 60, of Fort Worth, a loving wife, sister and aunt, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2007.Born Linda Raye Bishop on September 4, 1947 in Cameron, Texas the daughter of Arley Ray and Edith Wynell Mode Bishop, Linda worked as a Tarrant County court reporter transcriptionist. She supported the United States military service men and women and enjoyed reading.She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Carolyn Parsons.Linda is survived by her husband, Tom Covington of Fort Worth; sisters, Marilyn Marett and husband, Ray of Terrell and Janie Walters and husband, Jeff of Weatherford; nephews, David, Jim, and J.W. Parsons, Dewayne Williams and Jason Walters; niece, Jennifer Edwards.Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2007 at Willow Park Baptist Church, 129 S. Ranch House Road. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, 5600 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford.
