William "Bill" Rusconi, 96, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2007 in Azle.A Memorial Service will be held in Napa, California at a later date.Memorials: in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.Bill was born November 29, 1910 to Victor and Ecorlena Rusconi in Napa Junction, California. He was a life long resident of Napa until 1997 when, due to ill health, he moved to Azle, Texas to reside with his daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and H. Glenn Ball.Bill retired from the Napa County Mosquito Abatement District and was a past president of the California Mosquito Control Association, Inc. Prior to that he helped construct the Golden Gate Bridge. He was a former member of St. Apollinaris Catholic Church in Yountville, California. In his youth he was an avid baseball and football player. He loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing, but he loved being with people most of all. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and brothers, Fred and Lloyd and stepdaughter, Mary Alstead.Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and H. Glenn Ball of Azle, Texas; stepdaughter, Shirley Bever and husband, Gene of Sacramento, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
