Tom Collins, 85, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2007 in Fort Worth. Cryptside services: 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Azleland Cemetery in Azle. Tom was born in Belleville, Illinois the son of Thomas and Lucille Collins. He moved to Texas in 1961 and to Springtown over a decade ago. Tom retired from the military, General Dynamics, and the insurance business. His favorite hobby was flying airplanes. Tom loved his friends, family and his dog, Bubba. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Don Collins. Survivors include, wife, Kay Collins of Springtown; son, Thomas R. Collins of Azle; daughter, Barbara Sexton and husband, Brian of Springtown; granddaughters, Brandie Aschmeyer and husband Robert of Springtown, Kimberly Collins of Peoria, Illinois; grandsons, Jason Sexton and wife, Carla of Springtown, Jeff Collins of Peoria, Illinois, Josh Sexton and wife, Kristine of Springtown; great-grandchildren, Parker, Drew, Bailee, Dalton, Austin, Cooper; sister, June Edwards of Springfield, Illinois; brother, Norman Collins of Walnut, Calif.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving family and friends.
