James Ford Seaberry, 81, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2007, in Fort Worth.Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at White's Azle Funeral Chapel. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. James Ford "Fordy" Seaberry was born in Poolville on Jan. 11, 1926, the second son of the late Vivian A. and Ruth Jennings Ford Seaberry. Fordy and the former Frankie Maxine Cannon were married on April 19, 1947, in Azle, and together started their family of two sons. Fordy retired after more than two decades of service with the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office as an investigator. He was an avid collector of antiques and traveled around the country with Maxine antiquing. Fordy loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.Fordy was very proud of his military service in Europe and was awarded many ribbons and medals including the European Theater of Operations with two Battle Stars, Occupation of Germany, the Good Conduct Medal, a Bronze Star, and the Victory Medal. His rank at time of discharge in June of 1946 was Staff Sergeant.Fordy was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John L. Seaberry.Survivors: Wife of 60 years, Maxine Seaberry of Willow Park; sons, Glen Seaberry of Aledo and Paul Seaberry of Willow Park; granddaughter, Kathy Seaberry; grandsons, Daniel and John Seaberry, all of Kennedale; great-grandsons, David, Kevin and Kenneth; one niece and nephew; and a host of loving family and friends.
