Clara Merle Young

Clara Young, 96, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007 in Weatherford. Funeral: 2 p.m., Tuesday at White's Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial: Memory Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Clara Young was born the daughter of Earl and Amy Springer in Hale Center, Texas. She was a long time resident of Parker County. Mrs. Young quilted for many, many years and was a pianist for her church Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frankie in 1987; and granddaughter, Julie McWilliams in 1986. Survivors: Daughter, LaVerne Holloway of Bedford; son, Davis Young and wife, Suzie of Weatherford; grandchildren, Jenny Webb and husband, Ron of Godley, Paul Young, Kelly Young and wife, Susan, all of Weatherford, Jeff Holloway and wife, Holly of Kennedale, Sonya Midkiff and husband, Mark of Euless; and great-grandchildren, Brazos and Cole Webb, Whitney Holloway, Meagan Midkiff, and Hunter Hall.
