Margaret Jane Williams Cobb Powell,68, went to see her Lord on November 1, 2007. Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 5 at White's Azle Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 5 P.M. Sunday at White's Funeral Home. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and truck driver. Margaret was a great teacher to her children, teaching them how to succeed in life. She was a devoted Christian at heart, who read her Bible everyday. Her eyes would light up when she saw her grandchildren. Margaret and her husband drove a semi truck for a living and they traveled all over the country and met a lot of people with whom she became friends. She loved cooking for her family epecially during the holidays, it was her way of showing them her love. Margaret taught her granddaughters how to cook and make things that would help them in everyday life. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Michael James Cobb, husband, James Cobb, sister, Dorothy Sevanto and brother Johnny Shaw. Survivors:husband, Richard Powell of Azle; children, Linda Cobb Swift, James and Steven Cobb; step-daughters, Veronica and Lamonica; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and family and friends.
