James Ausbon Talley

AZLE -- James A. Talley, 59, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 at a local hospital. Memorial service: Tuesday at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2137 Eagle Mountain Memorial Post, 11875 Fm 730 N, Azle. Please call 817.444.2912 for more information. James was born March 7, 1948 in Fort Worth. He was one of twelve children. James was a caring father and took care of his mother, Iva, and family. He honorably served his country during the Vietnam War in both the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. AIr Force. James was the standing chaplain of American Legion Post 356 and a member of VFW Post 2137, both in Azle. He was a graduate of Trimble Tech High School. James was preceded in death by his parents and many siblings. Survivors: Daughter, Shirley Crow and husband, David; sister, Glenda Leck; brother, Robert Talley, all of Azle; sister and brother, Sadie Talley and David Talley, both of New Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
