Charles Lesley Glover, 85, of Azle and Muleshoe, Texas, went to e with the Lord on Friday, November 09, 2007.Charles was born with his twin brother and life long friend, Wesley, on June 10, 1922 in Tioga, Texas to Charles Lee and Georgia Guthrie Glover. Charles was a farmer for 30 years in Muleshoe, Texas and a great fisherman for many more. Charles enlisted in the Navy in 1943 and served in the 1008 Sea Bee Detachment unit in the Southwest Pacific. Charles married Ellen Jo Hamilton in a double wedding on July 17, 1948 with Ellen's sister, Dorothy Hamilton and Wesley Glover. Ellen and Charles were blessed with 59 years together. Charles was a caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved a good game of dominoes.Charles was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Jo, of Azle; son, Steve and his wife, Mary of Fort Worth; son, Michael and his wife, Tammy of Albany; three grandsons, Jeremiah, Mica, and Caleb; and one granddaughter, Bonnie. Charles had six great grandchildren, Regan, Sydney, Reese, Haylea, Kaden, and Hannah; and one brother, Wesley Oliver Glover of Lufkin and Frosty also survive.Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2007 at Azle Church of Christ with Ian Mostert officiating. Interment will follow in the Ash Creek Cemetery, Azle. The family will receive guests 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home
