Robert "Bob" Elliott Sealy, 73, of Weatherford, passed away at his home Thursday morning, November 15, 2007 surrounded by his loving family.Bob was born April 1, 1934 in Hartford, Connecticut. In 1944 Bob and his family moved to Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1952. At the age of 18, Bob went to work for the City of Fort Worth. Bob's career and extended family was with the City of Fort Worth Water Department for the next 25 years. Shortly after retiring in 1977 he moved to Roswell, New Mexico. Bob and Julia loved and enjoyed life in Roswell. In 1995 they decided to return to Texas and relocated to Weatherford.He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Tate and Harrie Terry; and brother, Walter Sealy.Bob is survived by his loving wife, Julia Ann Sealy of Weatherford; daughter, Maggie Jayne Sealy Barry and husband, Robert of Wylie; and also Bob's stepchildren, Sam D. Crawford, Joanne Crawford, and Kathryne Roden. Bob grew up as an only child, however through the years, he developed several brother relationships: Leslie Terry, Jay Smith, Richard Smith, Bill Smith, Kit Kitterman, Bobby Holland, and Kari Travis; as well as many other extended family and friends.Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Grace First Presbyterian Church, 606 Mockingbird Lane, Weatherford, Texas. Bob would love memorial donations made to the Weatherford Animal Shelter, 409 Hickory Lane, Weatherford, Texas 76086, or a charity of your choice.
