Guandola Viola Smith

Guandola Smith, 92, of Weatherford, passed away Friday, December 7, 2007 in a Lubbock assisted living home.Born December 30, 1914 in Comanche, Texas, Guandola Viola Brazell was the daughter of the late George Violin and Elsie Ray Reeves Brazell. She was the wife of a minister, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Ernest M. Smith.Survivors include sons, James Smith and wife, Sandy of Denver, CO, and Nathan Smith and wife, Cheryl of Copperas Cove; daughter, Martha Choate and husband, Charles of Lubbock; grandchildren, Zachary, Zane, Travis, and Lincoln Smith, Kyle Kumley, Aeron Fay, Kristen Fields; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ray Brazell and Don Brazell.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2007 at North Main Church of God. Burial will follow in the East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. The family will receive guests 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
