Doris Jane Long

Doris J. Long, 72, of Weatherford, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008.Doris Jane Ault was born November 27, 1935 in Whiting, Indiana, daughter of the late Keith and Donna K. Matson Ault. She had been a resident of Weatherford since 1971.She was preceded in death by a step-grandson, Joshua Leal in 1992.Survivors include husband of 53 years, Robert Long of Weatherford; daughter, Joy Summers and husband, Mark of Weatherford; sons, Dale Long and wife, Vicki of West Richland, WA, Randy Long and wife, Miranda of Oak Harbor, WA, and Bruce Long and wife, Emily of Oak Harbor, WA; grandchildren, Ryan Summers, Cole Summers and Evan Long; step-grandson, Terry Leal. Also surviving are sisters, Barbara Hart of Irons, MI, Ree Mays of Irons, MI, and Marilyn Wodetzski of Henderson, NV; brother, John Ault of Pottsdam, NY; and numerous family and friends.Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park. The family will receive guests 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the ALS Society of North Texas, 1231 Greenway Drive, Ste. 270, Irving, Texas 75038.
