Clida Bell Baker McClain

Clida Bell Baker McClain, 100, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008, surrounded by her family at a local care facility.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at White's Chapel of Memories, Weatherford. Burial will be in Perrin Memorial Garden, Perrin.Clida Bell Baker McClain was born Nov. 20, 1907, in Perrin, a daughter of the late K.D. and Nancy Ann Hill Baker. She had been a resident of Weatherford since 1980, prior to that she lived in Fort Worth. Clida was a member of Willow Park Baptist Church. Clida recently celebrated her 100th birthday with over 150 family and friends. Clida was preceded in death by husbands, Jack "W.D." Smith in 1946 and A.G. McClain in 1985; parents; and 12 brothers and sisters.Survivors: Son, Don Smith and wife, LaJuan, of Trinidad; daughter, Rozalea Wade of Weatherford; grandsons, Bill Smith and wife, Linda, Steve Smith and wife, Stephanie, all of Corsicana; granddaughters, Rozmary Byars and husband, Matt, Jackie Hayslip and husband, Dennis, all of Aledo; ten great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of loving family and friends.
