Gatha Lee Caveness

Gatha Lee Caveness, 93, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008. Service: Celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Perrin United Methodist Church. Burial: Perrin Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Mineral Wells Funeral Home. Mrs. Caveness was born March 23, 1914, in Itasca, the daughter of Athie and Della Hobbs. She loved the outdoors and being with her birds, flowers and pets. Mrs. Caveness was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; brother, Colbert Hobbs; sister, Laverne Samuel; and her parents. Survivors: Daughters, Wenda Goen and husband, Curtis, of Whitt, Carol Caveness of Azle; son, Gaward Caveness and wife, Jo, of Fredericksburg; granddaughter, Rhonda Ford and husband, Roger, of Arlington; grandsons, Carlin Royal and wife, Sherry, of Whitt, Lyn Caveness of Austin; and great-granddaughters, Sharese, Carlie, Shalin and Cathryn.
