Frances Liddell

Frances Liddell's work in this life ended Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the age of 88.Frances was born on October 4, 1919, in Loves Valley, Oklahoma, to Walter and Bessie Adcock, both of whom are now deceased. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Roberson; and two brothers, Walter S. Adcock, Jr. and Sam M. Adcock. J. C. Liddell, Frances' loving husband, of over fifty-seven years also preceded her in death.Frances was a wonderful wife and was a loving and very caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.Frances graduated from Thackerville High School in Oklahoma, attended the University of Oklahoma, and graduated from Texas Christian University. Later she did graduate studies at Texas Woman's University and at the University of North Texas. Frances was a teacher and librarian in the Weatherford Independent School District, retiring after twenty-nine years of service. Frances was a faithful, long time member of the First Baptist Church of Weatherford since to moving to Weatherford in 1946. If you desire instead of flowers, you may give to the First Baptist Church music ministry.The family is very grateful and appreciative for the loving care provided for over twenty years by Dr. James Roland, by the management and staff at Sterling House of Weatherford, and by the dedicated, caring personnel of Integra Hospice Care.She is survived by sons Harold Liddell and wife Darlyn of Angleton, Tx. and Ronald Lynn Liddell of San Antonio, Tx., five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Weatherford. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park. The family will receive guests 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
