Clara Virginia Barton McSpadden

Clara Virginia Barton McSpadden, 79, of Fort Worth, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008 in Fort Worth.Clara Virginia Barton was born Nov. 3, 1928 in Weatherford, the youngest daughter of the late Burl and Anne Barton. She was a graduate of Poolville High School. Virginia married Robert McSpadden, Aug. 17, 1983 in Fort Worth. She was a dedicated and active member of Westside Baptist Church in Fort Worth and loved to crochet. A unique lady, whom there will never be another one like her, Virginia will be missed by all who knew her.She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Chamberlain in 1987; her parents; and sister, Irene Vick in 1997.Survivors include husband Robert McSpadden of Fort Worth; sons, Raymond Burl Chamberlain and wife, Susan of Boonsville, and Randall Lynn Chamberlain of Mineral Wells; daughters, Gennia Ann Williams of Crowley, and Deborah Coonrod of Lawton, Okla. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Chamberlain of Zion Hill; two nephews; one niece; and a host of loving family and friends. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2008 in the Zion Hill Cemetery. The family requests that guests meet at White's Funeral Home at 11 a.m. to join the funeral cortege to the cemetery. Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 4.p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
