Sandra Taylor, 63, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Monday, March 3, 2008, surrounded by her family at her home in the Horseshoe Bend community. Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Horseshoe Bend, 7156 Brazos Trail, Horseshoe Bend. Interment: Tin Top Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Sandra Lee Oremus was born May 21, 1944, in Fort Worth, the daughter of Esther Anderson and Robert Oremus. She was married to Ray Taylor for 25 years, much of which was spent traveling around the world. In addition to traveling and taking cruises with Ray, Sandra loved to shop. Sandra retired from Safeway after 20 years of service as a meat wrapper. A lifelong resident of the west side of Fort Worth and Horseshoe Bend, Sandra attended Trimble Tech High School. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors: Husband of 25 years, Ray Taylor of Horseshoe Bend; son, Robert Anderson and wife, Sharon, of Cottondale; daughter, Kelly Hantz and husband, Kyle, of Weatherford; son, Darren Taylor and wife, Angie, of Willow Park; grandchildren, Brittany, Morgen and J.R. Anderson, Kelsey Hantz, Luke and Dylan Taylor; great-granddaughter, Grace; brother, David Oremus of Fort Worth; and a host of loving friends.
