Jimmie Rae Griffin -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SPRINGTOWN -- Jimmie Rae Griffin,61, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008 in a Weatherford hospital. Her interment will be Tuesday March 18, in Monahans Texas. Jimmie was born July 29, 1946 in Abilene to James and Opal Hass. She was a long time resident of Springtown. Jimmie loved riding motorcycles and being outdoors. She served her country honorably for 15 years with the United States Navy Reserves. Jimmie was very dedicated to her loving grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Survivors: husband, Leo Griffin of Springtown; son, David Carlton of Springtown; daughters, Jackie Griffin of Lake Dallas and Cathy Glines and husband, Joe of Keller; seven grandchildren also numerous relatives and friends.
