David Alan Plato, Sr.

David Plato Sr., 62, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2008 in Ft. Worth.Services: 10:00 a.m. at White's Azle Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Pleasant Grove #2 Cemetery in Boyd. Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.David Plato was born June 2, 1945 in El Reno, Oklahoma. He was a long time resident of Azle and Boyd. David was an avid auto racing enthusiast. He loved playing with his grandchildren. Mr. Plato honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Dobbins; and brother, Robert Dobbins.Survivors include, wife, Lynda Plato of Boyd; sons, David Plato, Jr. and wife, Paula, of Springtown, Robby Plato and wife, Brenda of Poolville; daughter, Melissa Massey and husband, Larry of Weatherford; father, Ira H. Dobbins of Azle; sisters, Laurel Norred of Louisiana, Kay Prine of Azle; eight grandchildren; and a host of friends and acquaintances.
