Gladys Wright Gilley, 91, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008 in Azle.Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Silver Creek United MethodistChurch. Burial will follow in Veal Station Cemetery. Visitation; 6 to 8 P.M. at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Silver Creek United Methodist Church, 2200 Church Road, Azle, TX 76020. Gladys was born September 2, 1916 in Parker County to Claude and Fay Wright. She was a lifetime resident of Parker County. Gladyswas an avid gardener, loved to cook and was a long time member of the Silver Creek United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe B. Gilley, a sister, Louise Robinson, and brothers, Denzil, Virgil and Waymon Wright.Survivors: daughter, Lana Chance and husband, Roy of Azle;granddaughters, Leanne Mathis and husband, Mike of Weatherford,and Laurie Smith and husband, James of Azle; great-grandchildren,Brittany, Cristal, Luke and Joshua; sister, Vonnie Holmes andhusband, Marshall of Azle; brothers, Norvin Wright and wife, Claraof Weatherford and Harold Ray Wright and wife, Dot of Weatherford.
