Maedell Delores Boney, 89, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 14, 2008, at her residence in Weatherford. Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church, 200 South Lakeshore Drive, Hudson Oaks. Dr. Tommy Hood will officiate. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Burial: Bullock Cemetery, three miles north of Ranger on FM 717 (Caddo Road).Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church Building Fund. Maedell was born June 20, 1918, in Dawson, daughter of the lateIrvin Bernard and Effie Putman Bazar. She married Winfred Jay Boney in 1938, who preceded her in death. She retired as a public school teacher from Edinburg ISD. Maedell was a forty year member of Rebecca Lodge, Garden Club, P.E.O. Classroom Teachers Associationand TRTA. Maedell was a 52 year member of First Baptist Church of Edinburg and an active member of Lakeshore Drive Baptist Churchsince moving to Weatherford in 1992. Survivors: Daughter, Priscilla Ann Clark and husband, Tom, of Austin; son, Dr. Ron Boney and wife, Catherine, of Weatherford;daughter, Shirley Jean Montgomery of Birmingham, AL.;seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and sister, Magdalene Kingof Fort Worth.
