Virginia Eloise Cox

SPRINGTOWN -- Virginia Eloise Cox, 80, passed away Monday, April 14, 2008, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Springtown. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at White's Springtown Chapel. Eloise was born April 24, 1927, in Paris to Fizer and Althea Self. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Springtown, and a member of the Springtown Extension Club. Eloise was retired from General Dynamics. Ladies are encourged to wear their hats in her honor. Eloise was preceded in death by her parents; six sisters; and four brothers. Survivors: husband D.M.Cox of Springtown; son, Gary Cox and wife, Erin of Benbrook; daughter, Connie Cox Nichols and husband, Dick of Colleyville; grandchildren, Andrea Nichols, Leslie Muhtadi, Kristi Smith and Paul Nichols; great-grandchildren, Garrett Muhtadi and Landry Smith; sister, Geneva Brewer of White Settlement; and many nieces and nephews.
