R.W. "Tony" McKinney, 69,went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 in Fort Worth. Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home in Springtown. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Tony was born August 30, 1938 in Dallas to Robert and Ida Bell McKinney. He was the former preacher at West Parkway Baptist Church in Azle, Tony was very active with music in his community. He had preached in West Texas, and New Mexico for over forty years. Tony was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Wayne McKinney IV; sister, Doris Grantom. Survivors: wife, Lillie McKinney of Azle; sons, David Wayne McKinney of New Jersey, Thomas McKinney of Springtown; daughter, Susan McCabe and husband, Tim of Cinn. Ohio and Patricia Harris of Dallas;sister, Shirley Vines; and a host of loving family and friends.
