Bernice Wilbanks

Bernice Wilbanks, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in Houston. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday in White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. Burial will follow in Hills Cemetery.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at White's Funeral Home. Bernice was born November 24, 1906 in Parker County, Texas to late Joe and Ella Gilbert. She was their last surviving child of seven. She journed through life quietly and bravely. Bernice met each challenge with a smile having faith and hope each day. She was always fun loving with a quick sense of humor and wit even until the end. Survivors: daughter, Jo Ann Wilbanks; son, Pete Wilbanks; grandsons, Mark Wilbanks, Cody Willbanks and wife, Lyn; granddaughter, Tammy Peters; six great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
