Jewell Etier Faith

Jewell Faith Polser, 93, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008.Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Monday at the Grace First Presbyterian Church in Weatherford. Burial: East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Jewell was born December 21, 1914 in Parker County to John S. and Jennie Bullington Etier and lived all her life in Parker County.She graduated from Brock High School and Weatherford College. Jewell was employed by J.C. Penny and Montgomery Wards before taking a job with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and was in that position for 29 years, retiring in 1973.She married Stephen Faith in 1940. Stephen passed away in 1982. Later Jewell married Eugene Polser in 1993 and he passed away in 1999. Jewell was a longtime member of Grace First Presbyterian Church, the Weatherford College Ex-Students Association, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She will be remembered as a generous, loyal and loving wife, step-mother, sister, aunt and friend. Jewell was preceded in death by her sisters, Frankie Garvin and Vivian Etier, brother, Faborn Etier and nephew, Phillip Etier.Survivors: step-son, Buddy Polser of Dallas; brother, Bennie Layton Etier of Lockhart, nieces, Dell Wickware of Weatherford and Betty Jeffrey of Dallas; nephews, John Etier of Weslaco and Mark Etier of Austin; great-nieces, Robin Sefzik of Dallas, Juliann, Jana and Jamie Jeffrey of Dallas; great-nephews, Johnathon and Joshua Etier of Weslaco; Jordan Etier of Austin and Jared Jeffrey of Dallas; and great-great-nephew Jake Sefzik of Dallas.
