Bruce E. Coker

Rev. B. E. Coker, 81, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 28, 2008 at home in Weatherford. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Thursday at North Main Church of God. Burial: East Greenwood Cemetery. Bruce was born May 3, 1926 in Honey Grove to the late Bruce and Pearl Coker. He was a retired minister of the Church of God and pastored churches in Texas and Arizona. He graduated as Valedictorian of his class at Windom High School and attended Paris Junior College. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Survivors: son, Ronald Coker and wife, Barbara of Keller; daughters, Pamela Browning and husband, Gene of Cleveland, Tenn. and Regina Rudd and husband, Jackie of Amarillo; six grandchildren,one great-grandchild; brother, Paul of Devine; sister, Earline of Denver, CO. and Juanita of Baytown and a host of loving family and friends.
