Jean Lusk, 91, a caring wife and mother, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008, at a local hospital. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Ash Creek Cemetery, Azle. Jean Noah Lusk was born May 10, 1916, in Erath County, the youngest of seven children to Oscar Edward and Mamie Lou Allen Noah. She married Herman Lusk in 1943 while he was stationed in Biloxi, Miss., serving in the United States Army. After Herman was discharged from the Army, they moved to Azle in 1951. Jean loved the outdoors and was particularly fond of flowers. She was a member of Azle First United Methodist Church for many years. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Herman, in 1983; her parents; sister; and five brothers. Survivors: Son, Bob Lusk and wife, Sharon, of Richardson; granddaughter, Lori Lusk of Garland; grandson, John Lusk of Benbrook; sister-in-law, Ruth Noah of Richardson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
