Billy F. Gregg

Billy Francis Gregg,82, passed away Monday, May 5, 2008 in Weatherford. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Saturday in White's Azle Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. Friday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Billy was born May 16, 1925 in Alvord to the late George Oscar and Florence Emerson Gregg. He moved to the Fort Worth area in the late 40's. Billy married Harriett Ann Hecht in the early 50's and she was the mother of his three children. He loved music, especially his drums and loved to pull pranks on his friends and family. Billy was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God in Blue Mound. He married his second wife, Patsy McAfee and she preceded him in death. Billy was also preceded in death by his brother, James Eldon Gregg in April of 1990.Survivors: children, Frances de Leon, Darrell Gregg and Twila Murphy; grandchildren, Lance Murphy, Kord Murphy, Sheila de Leon, Shawna de Leon, Lil Joe de Leon, Amanda Jones, Ashley Davis, Patrick Murphy, Austin Gregg and Aspen Gregg; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Wendell and George Gregg; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
