Springtown -- Kenneth Parnell, 50, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008. in a Decatur Hospital. Visitation: 1 to 4 p.m., Thursday at White's Springtown Funeral Home. Graveside: 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Marlow Cemetery, in Marlow, Oklahoma. Ken Parnell, Jr, was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., the son of Kenneth and Peggy Parnell, Sr. He was a self-employed farmer and rancher. Ken loved woodworking, camping, fishing, and most of all, his family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Parnell, and grandmother, Dorothy Richardson. Survivors, wife of twenty nine years, Deanna; sons, Shane Kinsworthy and wife, Jennifer, Kenneth Leon Parnell III and wife, Renee, David McMurrian, all of Springtown; daughters, Melissa Montanez and husband, Sam of Springtown, Pamela McMurrian of Webster City, IA; ten grandchildren; brother, John Parnell; sister, Sandra Parnell; and parents, Kenneth and Peggy Parnell, Sr. of Alex, Okla.
