Dale L. Lance, 71, died Wednesday, May 22, 2008 in Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Dale was born July 11, 1936 in Centerville, Mich. to Manly and Edith Stowe Lance. He was a longtime resident of the Briar community. Dale was an avid handyman, always helping other people repairing and fixing things. He could do anything and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.Survivors include wife, Sharon Lance of Briar; sons, Steve Lance and wife, Polly of Krum, Randy Lance of Azle, Todd Lance and wife, Janette of Rhome; daughters, Lauri White of Lake Worth, Patricia Reese and husband, Dennis of River Oaks, Michelle Heimlich and husband, Leroy of Azle; also 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Pete Smart; sisters, Barbara Plotts, Dawn Jackson and Candy Peterson.
