Olympia Sabat Ellis

Olympia "Sally" Ellis, 91, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at her home in Weatherford. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31, at St. Stephens Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Rosary will be held 7:00 p.m., Friday at White's Chapel of Memories.Olympia Ellis was born February 5, 1917 in Mayfield, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Sam and Ann Sabat. She was a graduate of Mayfield High School. Mrs. Ellis was a beautician and a waitress. She moved from New York City to Weatherford in 1952. In 1961, Sally married Edgar Ellis and for many years they were ranchers and farmers. Mrs. Ellis was a long time member of St. Stephens Catholic Church.
