Opal Gladys Aslinger Kemp, 93, passed away Monday, May 26, 2008, at a local care center. Graveside: 3:00 p.m. Wednesday in Community Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Opal Gladys Aslinger Kemp was born May 17, 1915, in Weatherford, daughter of the late George Washington and Martha Aslinger. Opal was preceded in death by her sons, Charles Kemp and Wyndell Johnson; granddaughter, Virginia Perkins; and her parents. Survivors: son, Bob Reck and wife, Sue of Calif.; daughter-in-law, Frances Ellen Tarno Johnson of Terrell; grandchildren, Donna Clay of Ft. Worth, Joe Johnson and wife, Jan of Granbury, Peggy Johnson of Granbury, Sherry Larsen and husband, Dan of Houston, Jack McNeal of Tenn., Doris Thibeaux and husband, Jody of Godley, James McNeal and wife, Marlene of Godley, Pamela Cook and husband, Jesse of Terrell, Cynthia Ketchem of Joshua, Paula Humphrey of Joshua; great-grandchildren, Gail Godfrey and husband Donald, April Perkins, Megan Johnson, Kelly Dean, Brittany Larsen, Brian Clay, Brandye Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Ray Buse, Misty Herbert, Cody Thomas, Jacklyn McNeal, Mary Allen, James McNeal, Erika Buse, Ceyselly Buse, Star McNeal, Justin McNeal, Brian Humphrey, Krystal Humphrey, Elizabeth Humphrey; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
