Doris Geraldine Ferrell

Doris "Jerry" Ferrell, 77, passed away Friday, June 13, 2008, at her home. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in White's Chapel of Memories. Interment:Aledo-Brown Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeralhome. Jerry was born in Stamford on Feb. 21, 1931, the daughter of thelate Eugene and Annie Lyckman. She was a graduate of Stamford HighSchool and later attended college in Seguin and Abilene. Mrs.Ferrell had been a resident of El Paso, Weatherford and Fort Worthand had moved to Aledo in 2007. She worked as an accountant for theU.S. Navy for several years. Jerry was a member of New RiverFellowship Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, RedFerrell, and her parents. Survivors: Son, Gene Ferrell and wife, Claudette, of Arlington;daughters, Annette Hardin and husband, Ross, of Plano and JanetPlasencio and husband, Rudy, of Aledo; seven grandchildren; 12great-grandchildren; and brother, Sonny Lyckman of Stamford.
