Mary Ruth Amerson

FORT WORTH -- Mary Ruth Amerson, 50, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at a hospital in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 401 North Main Street, Springtown. Interment: Mount Olivet Memorial Park, Sylvania Avenue and Northeast 28th Street, Fort Worth. Visitation: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mary Ruth Bridges Amerson was born Nov. 11, 1957, in Seminole, a daughter of the late William Harrison and Marjorie Faye Parker Bridges. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Fellowship in Weatherford. Mary loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Her passion was painting. Mary was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors: Husband, Brian Amerson of Springtown; son, Jeremy Jones and fianc?, Destiny, of Lake Worth; daughters; Amanda Jones-Jay and husband, Andy, of Madill, Okla., Leigh Ann Amerson of Springtown, Ashley Morrow and husband, Alex, of Azle, Sarah Blackwell and husband, Jeremy, of White Settlement, and Jamie Amerson of Springtown; eight grandchildren; sisters, Alice Bates, Brenda Taylor, Loretta Bas, and Selma Tynes; and a host of loving family and friends.
