Charles William "Hoss" Lindsey, 76, passed away Monday, June 23, 2008 in Azle. Funeral Service: 1:00 P.M. Thursday in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: Veal Station Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Hoss was born May 9, 1932 in Springtown to Ward and Opal Lindsey.He was a longtime resident of Azle. Hoss loved to read and was a craftsman at metal working. He was a loving father and friend. Hoss enjoyed hunting with his family and friends. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. Hoss was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ward, Jr. and sister, Martha Davis.Survivors: daughters, Sheila Pierce and husband, A.W. of Fort Worth, Charlotte South and husband, Joe of Azle; son, Brent Lindsey and wife, Carla of Reno; brother, Maurice Lindsey and wife, Jeanine of Springtown; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
