Raymond Richare Butler

SPRINGTOWN -- Raymond Richard Butler, 77, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008. Raymond was born Feb. 17, 1931, in San Bernardino, California. He was the son of the late Burton and Josephine Butler. After serving in the Air Force, he had a long career as an exceptional tool and dye maker. He was a resident of Springtown for more than 20 years. He continued working while he raised his twin granddaughters. He held varied jobs for local merchants, his final job with Hometown Building Center. He loved all aspects of car and motorcycle racing and was an avid outdoorsman. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie L. Butler in 2007; his parents; and brother. Survivors: sons, Raymond Butler Jr. and wife Patricia, Michael Butler and Ronnie Butler; daughters, Laura Wright and Jody Starkey; sister, Barbara Grizzelle; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
