Ralph Hynson, 77, a retired engineer, died Friday, June 27, 2008.Service: 10 a.m., Tuesday at White's Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Ralph was born April 21, 1931, in Odell, the son of Charlie and Winnie Hynson. A man of distinction in ways we seldom if ever see today. A man of integrity and honor - the code he lived by, the principles he stood for in everything he did and everyone he touched. He was a good family man, a best friend and a good neighbor. His family was his foundation, his rock. He loved and respected them without question or hesitation.Not only was his family important to him, as he treated his friends with such respect and dignity that one felt honored to be called Ralph's friend. Many a person have been touched by his friendship and generosity which will surely never be forgotten. Ralph graduated from Weatherford High School in 1949 and attended Texas Christian University. Mr. Hynson retired from the Texas Highway Department after 30 years. Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Hynson, and son, Chuck Hynson.Ralph, may you always walk in a beautiful Grand Canyon while we on earth say thank you for being our son, father, grandfather, family and friend. Survivors: Son, David Hynson and wife, Kelly of Arlington; granddaughters, Brynn Hynson and Lynden Hynson, both of Arlington; and mother, Winnie Hynson of Weatherford.
