Vernon Paul Hurdle

Vernon Paul Hurdle, 67, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 in Azle. Memorial Service: 10 A.M. Monday in White's Azle Chapel. Vern was born July 19, 1940 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late George and Mary Hurdle. He was a longtime resident of Azle. Vern was a very good mechanic and could repair anything that was broken. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Vern was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Patricia; a sister and a daughter. Survivors: sons, Vernon E. Hurdle and wife, Cristi of Cedar Hill, David Hurdle and wife, Tina of Fort Worth; daughter, Sharon Hurdle of Azle; close friend, Hazel Johnson; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and numerous friends and acquaintances.
