Edith Mae Howe passed away in a Fort Worth hospital July 5, 2008. She was born in Ottumwa, Iowa April 11, 1937 to Grace and Walter Llewellyn.Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Weatherford. Interment: Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford. Edith worked at Volkswagen of America in Fort Worth and Bravomat of Weatherford. She is a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Weatherford. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Verle Ray Stewart and Eston Howe, and daughters, Diana Lynn Smith and Patricia Kay Stewart.She is survived by daughter, Joyce Ann Burnham of Freedom, Okla.; sons, Dewayne Stewart of Freedom, Okla., and James Howe and wife, Nicole of Fort Worth; sister, Catherine McGlothlin of Weatherford; brother, Leonard Llewellyn and wife, Bess of Washington, Iowa; grandchildren, Brandon and Tyler Webber, Amy and Amber Stewart, Tracy and Shane Lohse and Tony "Chipper", Mary Smith, and Caitlyn Howe. She is also survived by Jerry Duvall and many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
