Jerry Wayne Valentine

SPRINGTOWN -- Jerry Wayne Valentine, 63, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, July 8, 2008. Jerry Wayne was born July 11, 1944 to Fay and Mildred Valentine in Alexandria, Louisiana. He served honorably with the United States Navy, as well as being a truck driver for over 40 years. Jerry was a member of Springtown Baptist Temple. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. Survivors: wife,of 25 years Linda, of Springtown; son, Christopher Owen Valentine of Springtown; daughters, Jennifer Diane Valentine of Springtown, Loretta Lynette Castillo, and husband, Robert, of West Monroe, Louisiana; brother and sister-in-laws, Alvin and Mildred Doolittle of West Monroe, Louisiana; Aunt and Uncle, Una and Archie Turner, Aunt Juanita Young, of Churchpoint, Louisiana; Aunt Alice Pocorello, of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana; six grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins, along with many close friends.
