Charles Leslie Moughon

Charles Leslie "Chuck" Moughon, 51, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a short illness in a Fort Worth hospital, July 9, 2008. He was born July 27, 1956 in Weatherford where he lived all his life. Memorial Service: 10 a.m., Monday at White's Chapel of Memories. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Brock United Methodist Church, 127 Lazy Bend Road, Weatherford, TX 76087 Chuck graduated in 1974 from Weatherford High School, where he played basketball and ran track. He graduated from Weatherford College in 1976. Chuck earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bio-chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin in 1979. While at Texas University, Chuck was named to the Dean's honor list Ampla Cum Laude for the college of natural sciences. In 1984, he earned his DDS from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Chuck practiced dentistry in Keller, Mineral Wells, Fort Worth and Corsicana for 25 years. Living at Lake Weatherford for many years, Chuck enjoyed his boat, swimming and water sports. He lived for his two sons and enjoyed many activities with them. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Sam Moughon; sister, Cheryl McFadin; and grandparents, C.O. and Dezzie Wells and Governor and Dolly Moughon. He is survived by his two sons, Mason Charles and Carter Roy Moughon; mother and stepfather, Barbara and Jack Adams; brother, Craig Moughon; step-brothers, Lane and Joe Adams; step-sister, Kathy Delira; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.
