Arthur McCrea Moore, Jr.

Rev. Arthur McCrea Moore, Jr., 76, died Monday, July 28, 2008 in an Azle hospital.Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: 2:30 P.M. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Rev. Moore was born December 13,1931 in St. Louis, Missouri to Arthur McCrea Moore, Sr. and Blanche Leone Dixon Moore. He earned his Masters of Science in Management from the University of Southern California, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado and Bachelor of Science in Mangement from the University of Missouri. He was a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and recipient of the Silver Star. Rev. Moore was also a Pilot and Electrical Engineer. He was preceded in death by his parents,and his sister, De'Ette Virginia Moore.Survivors: wife, Marjorie Helen Moore of Azle; daughter, Linda Sue Danczak of San Jose, Calif.;sons, Richard McCrea Moore of Woodbridge, Va. and Robert Steven Moore of Azle; brothers, Jack Russel Moore of Houston and David Walter Moore of Annapolis, Md.
