Garland Cody

Garland Cody, 72, died Tuesday, August 12, 2008 in Fort Worth. Service: 2:00 P.M. Saturday in White's Chapel of Memories. Interment: Ballew Springs Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at White's Funeral Home.Garland was born July 14, 1936 in San Antonio to Grover and Zelma Steitle Cody. He was retired from Lockheed-Martin, where he worked as an aircraft mechanic for over 27 years. Garland was a veteran of the United States Air Force and United States Marines and served in the Korean conflict. He was preceded in death by his son, Greg Cody; daughter, Debbie Cody and wife, Judy Cody.Survivors:wife, Ann Fuchs of Fort Worth; son, Steve Cody of Weatherford; daughters, Brandi Cody of Weatherford and Michelle Gillespie of Ohio; and sister, Ella Mae Bartlett of Jourdanton and 5 grandchildren.
