Irma Rose Fuhrmann, 74, passed from this earth into Jesus' arms Tuesday, August 19, 2008, in Fort Worth.Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Stephens Catholic Church, 1802 Bethel Road, Weatherford. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m.In lieu of usual remembrances, the Fuhrmann family requests memorial donations in Irma's name to St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church, 13 S.E. Jefferson Street, Idabel, Oklahoma 74745.Irma was born to Clement Maria and Helen Frances Kleiss Hofbauer on March 26, 1934. She married Ewald Henry Fuhrmann on October 7, 1953 at Sacred Heart Parish in Muenster. Their three children were born in Terrell, Texas and in 1966 the family moved to Idabel, Oklahoma. Mrs. Fuhrmann played the organ for 36 years at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church. She was the lunchroom supervisor at Denison Elementary for 35 years. Upon retirement, the family moved to Weatherford to enjoy their grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Giles Hofbauer.Survivors include her husband, Ewald Fuhrmann of Weatherford; son, Melvin Fuhrmann of Clarksville, Tennessee; daughters, Michelle Bell and husband, Jack of Weatherford, and Carmen Richters and husband, Doug of Tipp City, Ohio; granddaughters, Rachel Bell of Weatherford, Meredith Richters and Annie Richters, both of Tipp City, Ohio; grandson, Matthew Bell of Weatherford; sister, Mary Evelyn Hermes of Gainesville; and brothers, Dale Hofbauer and Dennis Hofbauer of Muenster.
