FORT WORTH -- Algene Bills, 87, went on a long fishing trip with the Lord, Monday, Sept. 1, 2008. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Springtown Funeral Home. Algene H. Bills was born Feb. 23, 1921, in Hood County to Henry and Servella Bills. He was a veteran of World War II. Algene loved to fish and hunt. Survivors: Wife of 63 years, Pearl of Springtown; son, Johnny and wife, Brenda, of Fort Worth; daughters, Rickie Dwyer, Linda Whitworth and husband, Glen, of Springtown; grandchildren, Casey, Shan, Kelly, Julie, John, Jessica, Tina and Shay; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
