Robert Lee Stokes,93, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008 in Fort Worth. Service:11:00 A.M. Thursday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Azle. Interment: Memory Gardens Cemetery in Weatherford.Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Robert was born July 17, 1915 in Illinois to Paul and Louise Stokes. He married Dorothy May Williams on July 19, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Robert worked at Lockheed for 30 years and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Haltom City Masonic Lodge. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.Survivors: wife, Dorothy May Stokes of Azle; sons,Robert Earl and wife, Shirley of Lake Worth, David E. and wife, Sang Chol of Converse; grandchildren, Regina Elaine Langham, LaDortha Jo Hall; great-grandchildren, Candice Jean, Amy Michelle, Samantha Lee, Morgan Gail,Daniel Carlton, Misti Marie; and great-great granddaughter, Chyenne.
