M.W. Bell passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008 in a Weatherford hospital. Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, Weatherford. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Senior Service Center, 1225 Holland Lake Dr. Weatherford, TX. 76086. M.W. was born March 15, 1921 in Brock on his homeplace to C.A."Doc" and Amanda Bell. He married his wife, Billie Ruth Long on May 29, 1947 and they had been married 61 years. M.W. honorably served his country in the Marine Corps in World War II. He taught and coached at Brock, Millsap and Springtown. M.W. received a commendation for teaching Driver's Education at Millsap from the State of Texas. He was a 50 year member of Brock Masonic Lodge #792, he was also a member of the Parker County Historical Commission and a working member of the Abandoned Cemetery Association for many years. M. W. was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bill and Carl Bell. Survivors: wife, Billie Ruth Bell; son, Willis Bell; brother, Clyde Bell and wife, Alena; sisters, Deloris Knight, Norma Gill and husband, Don, Gloria Sears and Joyce Walker.
