Mary L. Dolly Porter

Dolly Porter, 75, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Tuesday, September 30 ,2008 in Azle. Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday in Ash Creek Cemetery. Dolly was born June 8, 1933 in Fort Worth to Winifred and Lela Britton. She was a life long resident of Azle. Dolly was an avid gardener, loved to tell stories and was devoted to her animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother. Survivors: husband, Newt Porter of Azle; daughters, Hope Porter of Azle, Anne Porter of Fort Worth and Kathleen Chapman and husband, John of Washington; son, David Porter and wife, Mary of Oklahoma; also survived by grandchildren,Mark, Amanda, Jonathan, Tammy and great-grandchildren, Preston, Mia, Adeline; and numerous friends and acquaintances.
